Many people don’t realize that you do not have to provide immunization for public school registration in CA. You have the right to sign a waiver declaring that you are opting out due to personal reasons (religious, medical, philosophical, etc.). The public school office will tell you that you need it and will even turn you away if you don’t have it but if you request the exemption form legally they have to provide it to you and accept it.
