Price for concrete slab?

Hi Piggs,

Parents are adding 2000 sq/ft of concrete slab in the back of their property. Was quoted $6.40 sq/ft for 2000 sq/ft with re-bars and 3000 psi concrete. It’s been awhile, is this inline with what other Piggs are seeing? Any concrete contractors that you’d recommend for a quote.

That sounds about right to me, but it really depends on what they’re getting. How many drains? Thickness? Will it be sloping anywhere? Will they have to demo stuff first?
