Portugal , Italy, and Spain 10 year bonds

All 3 have lower bond rates on their 10 year than we do, how can that be?

It is a curious thing. The answer is basically different expectations for inflation:

Mexico is 7.56%
Venezuela is 10.43%
Kenya is at 13.15%
So we Americans are a riskier investment than Portugal, Italy, Spain and France!
Japan is just .063%
Another very interesting thing is I see a curve flattening in China i.e. recession about to happen there?

Wow just looked it up here http://www.businessinsider.com/recessions-history-around-the-world-2017-10 China has never had a recession in recent history. I’d say they are due. Along with Australia and Columbia.

Read the article in my link.

It explains specifically why investment risk is not the reason for the difference.

And China doesn’t have recessions because they fudge their economic data.
