Do you guys think there are more carrying herpes but for whatever reason the virus doesn’t affect them?
Also if that were the case does that mean it dies with them? meaning they aren’t passing it along either?
—————-Some peole are carriers of various diseases, but for some reason are asymptomatic.

More general info regarding STDs (or STIs, as they explain…):

—————————-Glad scaredy brought this up — this isn’t the 50s anymore, and the statistics are rather alarming. If everyone is going to sleep around with one another, we have to accept that STDs will be a regular part of almost everyone’s lives. Even if one only goes without a condom when in a “serious” (but uncommitted!) relationship, there’s no telling what your partner is doing when you’re not looking. After all, there’s no reason for anyone to be monogamous, since each person is out for him/herself and always on the lookout for “something better”.

December 13, 2009 at 8:59 PM #493812barnaby33ParticipantCareful Ca renter, you are getting scary and moralistic. We aren’t all davelj. Oh wait we are.
You basically have two options, always wear a condom after doing a visual spot check for herpes sores, coupled with never having oral sex. Option two extend some trust to potential partners, but pre-screen them, your methods may vary.
Funny how this morphed from my appeal for a date, to a frank discussion on STD’s. I figure they are proof that god loves us and wants us to be happy, covered head to toe in latex.
