so far we are very happy with our Ooma.
we do pay $10/month for caller ID.
the call quality is excellent, we love the e-mailed VM.
OCR, curious to know what ISP you have? We had Time Warner initially and it worked out well with Ooma then got Uverse and the quality seemed to pretty bad. Glad to hear it’s working out for you.
I get caller ID for free, so not sure why you pay $10/month for that. Do you have the Ooma Premier?
we have ATT DSL.
Ooma without the premier service did not have caller ID…
hmmm…

August 10, 2010 at 12:23 PM #588741CoronitaParticipantPublic service announcement for ATT uverse customers. If your initial “introductory” rates are about to expire, call and cancel. Tell them you’re paying too much for internet + uverse and you’re going to be switching back to (name your cable company)….Let ATT do the talking. They just took off tv+internet $35/month for the next 6months…And guess what? When the 6 months are up, I’m going to be calling them back again asking for another discount π
I have att-uverse U-100 with two tv’s and internet access. Currently, after discounts it’s $55/month
(ATT landline is $13/month for local access only)

August 11, 2010 at 5:14 PM #589669CardiffBaseballParticipantI am so bummed I can’t get Uverse here in Orlando. Brighthouse Networks, and I am not a fan. I’ll keep it for a time while Uverse spreads into our little area (hopefully within 6 mos.)
