I am in a Time Warner Area (Pacific Beach)
My 2 year contract is coming due for phone internet and cable. I was paying $99.98. Timewarner is telling me that they can do another contract and include the DVR and some additional channels(I don’t need any more and really don’t think I will use the DVR) but new cost is $128.85.

Anyone find some sort of promotional code that would help to cut this cost. I have been approached by ATT but have heard some negative reviews.

Current Internet speed is 7 Mbps. Not certain if that is both upstream and downstream.

Wanted to get some thoughts from some of the more frugal posters out there.

I cut my cable. I have netflix, hulu, and an antenna for local TV with superior HDTV quality. I only want two cable channels (ESPN and GolfChannel) why should I have to pay for 60?
