A new study shows that fifty nine percent of mothers and fathers are still sometimes providing financial assist to their adult kids who are not students. The research concludes the tough economy is stopping them from moving away from home. Some of them are turning into so-called “boomerang kids,” by leaving home and returning again.

At least in our house, the reverse is true… My husbands parents boomeranged (sort of) into our home.
I’m ok with it.
But I need my kids to grow up and be independent so they can support and help me when I get old. 😉

It is beautiful to have people to care for. I took 5 boys rock climbing yesterday, tired em out, cooked huge amounts of spaghetti and sausage, two cleared their places. I don’t know. I think these conflicts are symptoms of bigger problems
