I have no idea on cost but I used these guys to crown-thin some pines in my yard and they were good: http://www.leafit2us.net
Thanks, I gave him an email and he responded right away. Sounded like he was busy.
Don’t be surprised if the 20′ is $400 to remove (no grinding) and about the same $400 per tree for trimming.
It will depend how high it is and if it has ever been trimmed before( how big the skirt is). Smooth trim on entire trunk will be $$$.
Tree guys work hard for their money and it ain’t cheap!
Access affects price as well. Can they reach it with a bucket lift or do they have to climb.
About 5/6 years ago, I paid around $1,200 for the neighbor’s gardener to chop down 6 queen palms. Each tree was about 20′ tall. The guy showed up with 3 other guys and they took the trees down pretty quickly. So, check with the gardeners you see around your hood.
I would never, ever plant queen palms again. King, yes. Queen, eff no.
I will report back. The guy responded at first but hasn’t since. I think i might be ghosted again!
I won’t pay $400 per tree to trim. They are already trimmed 80% of the way. They might look a little better but not that much.
The tree to be removed could just be chainsawed and buried in a shall grave in the back yard.
Once again “ghosted” by a tree trimmer! He asked me my availability, I responded I have a flexible schedule so just about anytime, no response.
