ParticipantHaven’t bothered to add many of the recent sales lately, but I thought this one really deserves to be mentioned. Just in case anyone thought that La Jolla was not going to fall as far as other areas, here’s a Seahaus condo that lost 29% or $469,900 since it was bought in late 05.

This has got to be a major blow to all the other Seahaus owners who are thinking their property is immune.

ParticipantXB, thanks for the update/bump. This is really interesting to check back on what people were saying and what was happening back in April compared to now! Looks like cracks are starting to gape. So much for immunity? Looks like it.

ParticipantXbox,
Good find… probably one of the record losses for La Jolla.
There are 2 more condos listed for $1M each on the same floor facing the ocean, the purchase price was less, but none the less, more pain on the way.
The carrying costs on these units are brutal, so add an extra 200k loss over 3 years. Not to mention commissions.
