January 18, 2010 at 8:03 PM #503421AnonymousGuestWell, I’ve had most of my savings accounts (and all of my mortgages) at a credit union since the late ’90’s. But I just recently closed a BofA credit card and got a similar card from my credit union. When closing the BofA account, I told the CSR that his bosses were evil and stupid and I was hugely disappointed that they got bailed out. And I told him that I wanted to make BofA just a little bit smaller so that next time it wouldn’t be judged “too big to fail”.
It was such a grassroots effort that I hadn’t even heard of moveyourmoney.com when I closed the account.
Cheers,
