Participant
[…]the Jets/Steelers. Well, won’t have a choice.
This. I too am in front of the computer doing a little legal work, a little surfing Pigg, and Amazon (just ordered a Blu-Ray production of Wagner’s Ring cycle).
We’re paused for lunch during half-time. When we’re done I’ll ask the wife what she’s reading now.

ParticipantLucky. You won’t be punished the whole day. SDR has the right idea. Tape it and fast forward through it at night. We did that last weekend. Got the boys today. Doing the male bonding thing.

ParticipantWife: We Are Doomed: Reclaiming Conservative Pessimism, John Derbyshire
Me: The Road to Serfdom, F.A. Hayek, Bruce Caldwell editor, The Definitive Edition
Just ordered:
Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, Amy Chua, which I understand is ultimately not quite like the WSJ article, but we shall see.
And to balance that approach out:
I Love Yous Are for White People: A Memoir (P.S.), Lac Su
