Billion dollar industy, I hardly think it’s just me, I’m just the only one that admits it. It’s not a hobby unless you want to classify brushing your teeth as a hobby. I will wager that average man spends more time looking at naked ladies than he does brusing his teeth. Just accept us, were broken, we cant help it.
My actual hobbies are
1. NBA (of course next year is in jeapordy)
2. NFL (ditto)
3. Wine (drinking it and making it)
4. Home stuff, (I finished installing wood floors dwonstairs and it was fun, took months, I have some great tools now, it’s a hobby, I think a patio cover is next, once you get turned on my table saws and mitre saws, it’s a hobby)
5. GolfBut your friend won’t be cured by suggestions, more than likely something else is wrong. We all question our existence at one time or another and it’s rarely because we haven’t been exposed to enough activities. Try to find out what the real problem is, if he solves that one, then he will find what makes him happy.[/quote]
I guess it takes a discussion on porn to get TG out of the shadows these days.

Astronomy is one of a very few pursuits IMO that really helps to put things into perspective.
I’m sure you’ve seen this pic (I think this image is the most significant in all of human history – thank you Carl Sagan):
