I’d have to take exception to that one…didn’t think their wines were as good as they (the winery) thought they were. Especially for a $12 tasting fee and the rudest cashier I’ve ever met.

However the parking lot was full…but I know there will be at least one extra spot in the future…since I won’t be back 🙂

It is quite fun and we do it several times a year…we gather up 5 to 10 couples and off we go.

Many people belong to the wine clubs there, they must like the wines…

But all that really matters is what your palate says. Other people’s opinions are just that – opinions.

I got a bottle of Chardonnay for $2 at Stater Brothers the other day. You read it right–$2 bucks. On one hand it shows you how cheap I am :); on the other hand, I’m simply no wine snob and am blessed with a nondiscriminating palate. I think we’re the most manipulated generations of human history and the quality difference in wines is mostly marketing.

Try the $2 and $100 wines side by side and tell me if you can tell the difference, or if the difference is worth $98.
