In fact, I did and love it. The local Bevmo in Carmel Mountain Ranch carries a kind of Kosher blackberry wine for ~$4 a bottle. It tastes great to me but might be a bit too sweet for most of the wine snobs here 🙂 I also love the concord grape version, both having at least 40% juice in it so says the labels.

(1) We just became Leonesse members 2 weeks ago. Ran out of time to visit the bottle room that visit, but we will next month…can’t wait.

(2) The reason that Temecula wines are so expensive is that buying wine directly from the wineries (whether they are in Temecula Valley, Napa Valley, or Santa Barbara) is always more expensive than buying at a grocery or wine store. If you’re lucky enough to find a TV wine in a grocery or wine store, it is reasonably priced also.

Now, it just turned seven and I think that is a perfectly respectable time of the evening to open tonight’s bottle.

(2) The reason that Temecula wines are so expensive is that buying wine directly from the wineries (whether they are in Temecula Valley, Napa Valley, or Santa Barbara) is always more expensive than buying at a grocery or wine store. If you’re lucky enough to find a TV wine in a grocery or wine store, it is reasonably priced also.

Now, it just turned seven and I think that is a perfectly respectable time of the evening to open tonight’s bottle.
