Two Points:
(1) We just became Leonesse members 2 weeks ago. Ran out of time to visit the bottle room that visit, but we will next month…can’t wait.
(2) The reason that Temecula wines are so expensive is that buying wine directly from the wineries (whether they are in Temecula Valley, Napa Valley, or Santa Barbara) is always more expensive than buying at a grocery or wine store. If you’re lucky enough to find a TV wine in a grocery or wine store, it is reasonably priced also.
Now, it just turned seven and I think that is a perfectly respectable time of the evening to open tonight’s bottle.
