I am shocked by the prices of new vehicles:
Crew Cab 1/2 ton trucks up to 50k, start at 40k
Expeditions up to 60k
I have seen Escalade’s near 100k
Avalanche easily 40kRidiculous….
GM was able to move vehicles at high prices because they were able to finance all their customers with low monthly payments, whether through 5 year leases or 96 month auto loans with 0% APR. They were able to get consumers to consider the monthly payment rather than the price they were paying for the car.

Then again, maybe I’m just getting old :)
I am as old or older than you brother. My ideal motorcycle is 750H3 Kawasaki, two stroke with carburators and points (need to install modern brakes and shock though). Don’t really like the changes it just there, and it should be safer for old fart like me π
