Combo that with dessert at Extraordinary Desserts downtown and that’s a winning night everytime!

December 1, 2009 at 9:21 PM #489156carliParticipantI had a fantastic lunch today at Kitchen 1540, which is in the L’Auberge hotel in Del Mar. Not only was the food the best I’ve had in the area in a long time, but the setting is spectacular. There’s a great view if you go before sunset and sit outside above the pool area with the ocean beyond. They also have cabanas (no view). Reserving one of those would be romantic, and the baby might think it’s fun to be inside a tent. It’s pricey but worth the splurge. Wherever you go, have fun and happy anniversary!
