I’m fond of Cafe Pacifica in either Old Town or Del Mar. Old Town is quaint. Del Mar a little nicer.
It’s decent. Not fantastic. But be advised… If you go before sunset take your sun glasses because it gets extremely bright on the patio. The Del Mar site that is…
For the anni… I say Pamplemoose Grill. Very good. Unbelievable wine selection.
Sorry Duuuude…

Pacifica makes fish good, plain and simple. Not fancy, not knock-you-socks off with over-done plates. Get the fresh fish, prepared simply and it is excellent. I like the one in Old Town better.
I wish Piggington had a way to keep lists of threads. Just a little “add to favorites” would be keen. The food threads on here are always awesome. I’d even vote for a new, actual category for food.

When my kids were little that was the only way we could take them out. The noise masks their noise and if there is dancing (i.e a Greek restaurant that is family oriented) you can seat yourself next to the band and let your kid dance. Without something to entertain your child, your “quiet” dinner will be a disaster.
