Buy a mac. (macbook )
I have to say, after being a mac users very early on when I was a kid, and then switching to a PC and Unix boxes throughout my career, i recently crossed the dark side and bought another mac.
I have to say, this isn’t your grandfather’s mac. Things are way so much cooler now. And for power users who’s familiar with unix/linux/bsd, since the latest macs are based on BSD, it makes tinkering much more in line with your daily unix/linux/bsd
The advantages are also, macs seem to depreciate slower than most pc’s, and generally macs are built better than most pc’s.
If you really want to, you can run a Windoze OS on a mac, and use a virtual desktop.
