March 2, 2011 at 8:03 AM #672419sdrealtorParticipant

So yesterday I was talking to my best friend about bucket lists and there was one on both of our lists. Something you can do in few places outside of SoCal. Go snowboarding in the morning and then play golf in the afternoon- all in one day. We have both lived in SoCal for years and never pulled this one off. Today we crossed it off. We went snowboarding at Mt Baldy this morning and then a round of golf in Laguna this afternoon. My bones ache. Next….
You gotta love SoCal!
Back when I was in my twenties, me and a buddy, in one day:
Water skied on Canyon Lake.
Snow skied at Wrightwood.
Played 9 holes of golf at Canyon Lake.
Played a set of tennis.
Then we started drinking and:
Bowled a game or two.
Played in our weekly softball game.
Shot a few hoops.
Played a few games of ping pong.It takes some planning, but you can pull it off. But, like you said, not in many places outside SoCal.
Ahh, SoCal.
Ahh, my twenties.
Wow what a memory! I’m 47 now and didnt have many years left to pull this one off. Glad I got it in. Just thinking about your day would put me in a coma.
