OT: Water filtration system

Hello,

I live in a condo in 4S Ranch and I can no longer stand the taste of tap water. It tastes just like swimming pool water.

I was wondering if anyone here has a whole house water filtration system and if you could provide me some feedback.

I am thinking about investing in one. However I would like to know if it’s worth it, how much it costs and what would be a good model…

I have a refrigerator with a filtered ice/water dispenser which works pretty good.
Is there a reason why you are considering a “whole house” system? Do you get thirsty in the bath?

I was also hopping to stop sediment from ending up inside the faucets everywhere in my home.
