I have a pre election victory post.
Back in 2008, I was a Hillary supporter because I didn’t think Obama would win, though i preferred Obama.
In hindsight, I’m really glad Obama won in 2008 and we had 8 years of a great president. If Hillary had won the nomination in 2008, i think she would have won against McCain (as almost any Democrat would have), but she may have lost against Romney; and we never would have had Obama.
Serendipity was on our side, or maybe God had a plan.
I would be happy with 8 years of Hillary.

The way this election has been going, the next Repub candidate that is anywhere to the left of Chump will most likely be able to defeat Hillary; and most of them seems exactly that.

We shall see because 4 years is a long time. 1 and done is what they said about Obama and now he’s leaving office at a high point in popularity. Ann Romney believed they would win so much that she cried when it bacame clear they lost.
And the Republican base may want to move further to the right with the rise of infowars, Breitbart, and maybe the Trump News.
I feel prosperity on the horizon… There is pent up demand from years of slow growth in America and abroad. A good economy and 4 more years of changing demographics can do wonders.

The disarray in the GOP is going to be a problem for them. But don’t underestimate the power of the right-wing noise machine. They had many millions of Americans convinced that Obama was a bad president before he even set foot in the oval office. Their echo chamber is so strong that they think just saying the name “Obama” will make everyone automatically think, “terrible president” or “worst president ever.” Their rhetoric is completely disconnected from reality, and their followers are completely unaware of this.
It’s comically easy to predict that the right-wing noise machine will portray Hillary as the worst president ever. It won’t matter what she does, and it won’t matter what happens to the economy. And with the lies, innuendo, half-truths, and deception they’ve been laying down for decades, they’ve got a massive head start on her.
Let’s picture 2 scenarios:
1. Hillary becomes president. She moves a bit towards the center.
2. Kasich had won the presidency. He moves a bit towards the center.
In these hypothetical scenarios, Hillary and Kasich do the exact same things in their presidency.
Does anyone doubt that, making the exact same moves, Hillary would be painted by the right-wing noise machine as the worst president ever while Kasich would be exalted by them as a great president?

If there were a Republican president, the right-wing noise machine wouldn’t say much about him at all. They’d direct all their energy and vitriol at whomever the prominent Democrats are at the time.
Today’s Republican party has no interest in governing. They have no real platform. Their only objective is to win. And their message is that the only way to win is for the other side to lose. Their culture is inherently divisive and destructive.
We were always at war with Eastasia.

November 8, 2016 at 8:55 AM #803205FlyerInHiGuestI changed the title from Victory to God has a plan.
Victory sounds too boastful and not humble.November 8, 2016 at 9:20 AM #803206FlyerInHiGuestZk, good point on by right wing media. But it is fragmenting as is all media.
Fox is now averaging 2.2 million viewers with a core overall reach of 4 million, if I recall.
The audience is getting older. Some good trends for democrats:
Regardless of the conspiracies, the core white male non-college block and their families is shrinking.
Univision is now a biggest network beating out ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX.
It’s free over the air and latino viewers are more reliable network viewers. Check out the line up of OTA Latino TV.Facebook and social medial trend liberal. People what positive stories attached to them, not ah ha news.
In 4 years, all the Latino HS kids, BG sees in Chula Vista will be adults and of voting age. It’s happening all over the sunbelt. Those young adults will speak perfect English and not be afraid of “la policia” (police/authorities) like their parents. They will awaken the Latino giant.
Milenials will take over more responsibilities, earn more, vote more.
More boomers will die.
Migration to the big cities from rural area will continue.
