If you want some awesome Chemo motivation you should watch Breaking Bad on Netflix. It’s about a bad-ass with cancer.

(I actually had to register after 5 years of reading without commenting to do this).March 17, 2012 at 1:56 AM #740108CA renterParticipantYes!!!!!! Awesome news, flu!!! π
Been waiting for your update, but just now got to see this as we’ve been without an internet connection for a few days because we’ve been moving.
What TG said is so true (and what a beautiful post, TG). Believe it or not, your health situation was a big part of our decision to go ahead and buy a house this past year. Kinda crazy, but there it is.
Like others have said above, though we all might not know one another in the flesh, it’s only natural to feel attached to people you’ve been blogging with, on an almost daily basis, for quite a few years. Your well-being is important to your “Pigg” family.
Keep up the good fight, and know that we are all standing in your corner, flu!
Thanks for keeping us updated, and let’s hope the chemo shortage is a very temporary thing.
March 17, 2012 at 4:26 AM #740109CoronitaParticipantThanks folks for all the care.. I think overall I’m doing ok. Things are starting to return back to normal for me.
I’m starting to go back to a normal work schedule (although I kinda liked be a slouch for awhile….Then again, I wasn’t really because I was working remotely…I just cut down on my side-gig stuff)…
The most disappointing thing was seeing that I was out and couldn’t do anything to buy rental property last year…Prices have gone up since last year… oh well.

Flu,
Don’t feel bad. Look at it from another perspective.
It might be something good for you because you didn’t have to go through all the stress and headaches.
Buying a property is not a simple thing. It involves a lot of emotional ups and downs.
I was thinking to get an investment house awhile ago and started searching, but now I am backing off. I realized that it is not easy to be a landlord. Life is too short to deal with the crap. Even if you make tons of money, so what? Is it worth going through all the stress and hassles? Eventually everbody will go to the same destination without taking anything with you. Take it easy and enjoy life as much as you can now.March 17, 2012 at 2:19 PM #740122svelteParticipant[quote=as]

There are easier ways to make money, and we value our free time too much to be tied to emergency rental phone calls, flakey dishonest people, and flagrant abuse of property.
We take better care of stuff we borrow than most people do of the stuff they own. We’d go crazy seeing what someone did to our rental. Better to avoid the headache.

I just wish I could have done it last year when things were cheaper I think then now. π
