ParticipantThese lists are fairly pointless. Different people will place different values on the various aspects that together make up “best place to live”. It doesn’t look like they even included cost of living versus local income, to me that is one the most important factors.

I think San Diego has one of the lowest average local income, yet highest cost of living.
