Welcome to the second installment of the Weekly Piggington Report, for the week of Feb 22. In case you missed last week’s installment, here it is Weekly Piggington Report, Issue #1
Yes, I understand that a Weekly Report normally should be at the beginning or end of the week.
But let’s face it.
1. Who reads this shit on a Friday when most of you are hitting the bars??
2. …Or on Monday, when most of you are probably recovering from a weekend hangover?
Ok, some of you are admittedly Piggington crack addicts that would be reading this blog on a smartphone while taking a dump in a public restroom. But come on, most of us have a life…Ok, maybe not. Or maybe… I don’t know.
Anyway, they say Wednesday is the most productive day of the week. Great! What a better way to ruin your productivity..

(Yeah, I know.. It currently doesn’t do anything. But maybe, just maybe, one day, I can make some money off of this…Hey, times are rough.. Got to think out of the box)….
This week’s theme is called the Piggington Weekly’s Expert Edition. Yes, that’s right. Everyone is an expert on this board. We are are the best of the best. And hence, this issue is dedicated all of us “Experts”
So, without further delay, here’s what’s been happening on Piggington…
1. Walter, God is Calling You…
Our Expert Fearless Spiritual Leader (EFSL) Walter has lead us through a deep philosophical and spiritual walk with God. Ok, maybe or maybe not… The point is that we’re trying to figure out whether God exists, and which God it is. Or maybe that atheism and agonism (is there such a word?) can be a religion or not. We’re trying to figure out the meaning of life. Why religion and politics are so entwined, what is sin, is borrowing or lending excessively sin…
2. Hey, I all I wanted was know about your raise (or lack thereof), but all I got was an earful about socialism versus capitalism and public versus private sector
It just started out as an innocent question. “Hey, I just got my raise. It pseudo stunk a little versus last year. What was yours?” Why did I ask? I don’t know. Maybe because I just like being nosey.
But anyway, we’re definitely getting schooled by Expert Compensation Committee Members (ECCM) in determining how folks should be appropriately compensated. We’re learning that the public sector is overcompensated, ok maybe not. But maybe. There is no comparable job in the private sector versus public, but maybe there is. And socialism is not better than capitalism, or maybe it is or maybe it isn’t. Innovation comes only from the government or maybe it does come from the private sector.
3. Those Damn Pesky Property Tax Forms and Mello Ruse(sic)
Well, we knew it was coming. The state wants to extort more money out of you to pay for more innovation. And the best way to do it is to make some of you tax cheats to stop deducting what you’re not suppose to be deducting anyway, like Mello Ruse (sic).
We’re trying to figure out what will be deductible and what will not be. Well, actually some of us Experts probably already know, because it really isn’t that complicated or maybe. But FLU definitely wanted to make things much more complicated… Because after all, the more twisted, convoluted something is, the more interesting the discussion is! “Expert” FLU analyzes how possibly tax cheats can continue to be tax cheats.. Not that necessarily it’s practical in any sense, but the fact is since we like to make shit up here anyway. Expert FLU leads the discussion down a rathole about whether the State can possibly have this new system in place before next year. Some say yes, some say no. Some say it’s not that hard, but it is, but it isn’t. But the most important takeaway, is that our fearless leader Briansd shows us the way that it doesn’t matter. Because we still don’t need to pay sales tax for our Internet purchases!
4. Will it sell?
Every week, we present a new house project and ask the same question. “Will it sell?” (Just like last week)
Today’s feature property: Stonebridge
We’re trying to figure out if Stonebridge is a good deal around $700k.
Expert FLU pointed out how ridiculous HOA was at $400/month only to be idiotically corrected that it’s the Mello Ruse not HOA… (Hey FLU, learn how to read there buddy)…But aside from that, we’re trying to figure out from Leading Experts That Don’t Live in the Area (LETDLITA) whether Stonebridge is a better or worse buy than other areas like South Park or any other far flung zip code in which you wouldn’t be able to afford the gas to commute, resorting to you having to sleep in your office and grow veggies in your own garden. Meanwhile, we’re also trying to pick a house for Navydoc to buy. Welcome back Navydoc, BTW. We missed you!
5. Got Contraception?
Our Expert Relationship Master (ERM) Briansd leads us in through the world of birth control. At the center of the discussion is whether using it or not using it is a political issue, or maybe not. Maybe it’s about who should be paying for it or not. Walter chimed in on redefining what sxx should mean, in Clinton terms. We are led down a discussion on whether birth control is a right or privilege, and a discussion about birth control and separation of Church versus State.

Target offers two generic BC pills in three doses each as part of their $4 generics plan. So basically a person without coverage has a chance of getting something that works for the price of a pack of cigarettes a month. Walmart also offers two types at $9 a month. So stock up and save while you can.
