Thanks for the advice. My wife and I actually love Mr Sushi (silly name, good food) in PB. We haven’t been there since we moved to VA three years ago, but that was always our favorite. Thanks for all the advice.

Sushi Ota on Mission Bay Drive across from Rubio’s in a dumpy little strip mall is the best! It is 100% authentic. You can easily get in with a reservation. In fact, we are going on 12/19 to celebrate my birthday. You don’t have to be Japanese as noted below. Just call and make a reservation.
