My wife and I are leaving the kids with Grandma and Grandpa and heading downtown for an “adult night”. Does anyone know of a good sushi place down there? We really don’t go down there much (since having kids). Your input would be appreciated. I guess if you have a favorite non-sushi place, put that down as well. Thanks
IMO the best sushi isn’t downtown but there’s a good one there: Taka, On 5th street just south of Market. Make a reservation and leave early to find parking (especially if there’s a Padres game going on).

If you want VERY cheap sushi (price wise) that is still decent you can go to Sushi Deli II on Broadway. But I guess coming from Ohio any sushi seems decent to me.
