    Well, that is exactly the point. Other companies DID create those electronics before Apple. But they created abysmal pieces of electronic trash. There were MP3 players, smartphones and tablet computers all before Steve Jobs and Co. decided they would make the iPhone, iPad and iPod. Apple has always been about doing something, but only when they are capable of doing it right. It’s not what you do – it’s what you DON’T do that defines you.

    I only hope that Tim Cook and the rest of the team at Apple can continue creating devices that just work for years to come.

    If Alexander Fleming did not discover penicillin maybe Ian Fleming would. But Alexander did, so he got the Nobel prize and Ian got the James Bond franchise.

    Steve Jobs doesn’t compare to the Rockerfellers who left a lasting legacy in America.

    I don’t even think that Steve Jobs compares to Henry Ford in terms of proportional relevance.
