Most of the time I oppose them both. When I have to pick I pick the lesser of two evils.
So there you go, Djshakes. The two sides are not the same. One side is better (or lesser evil) than the other, depending on your point of view.
Well, each paper clip in the pile is slightly different if you inspect each one. How different? Not enough to give a shite.
If the difference is not enough to give a shit, by this logic, in 2012, you should not vote for the Republican presidential candidate. Vote for the 3rd party candidate.
I normally do. You done stating the obvious?February 2, 2011 at 1:33 PM #661799DjshakesParticipant

Most of the time I oppose them both. When I have to pick I pick the lesser of two evils.
You’re logical Djshakes.
I was more generally addressing the conservatives on this board who were so dissappointed with Bush that they declared “they are all the same.” Then they started advocating for John McCain.
Declaring “they are all the same” is similar to parents telling their children “everyone is a winner” when there are clearly winners and losers.
As conservatives like to say “we are NOT all the same.”
