Check if the HVAC setting is set to heat or cool, and if either is triggered. If fan is auto or on would be the same if the system has triggered for cooling. If cool, the fuses on the compressor for the condenser may have blown. The blower works off of the temperature in the furnace-heat exchanger when using heat. When in AC, it generally runs off of the relay voltage used to start the compressor.
NOTE: What model of Honeywell thermostat? Make sure you check the heat/cool settings noted above…

October 29, 2012 at 11:10 PM #753412sdduuuudeParticipantYa. I’d reset the thermostat and reprogram it.
Time to dig out that manual.October 30, 2012 at 7:10 AM #753422desmondParticipantTurn the unit off by throwing the breaker switch at the electrical box to stop the blower. Then turn it back on, that may fix it.
October 30, 2012 at 8:05 AM #753430ltsdddParticipantYou might have a blown fuse. I recommend you turn the AC on. Check if there’s cool air. Alternatively, check the compressor(?) unit in your yard and see if the fan is running. If either or both tests fail then chances are the fuse is blown. If that’s the case you can go to a home improvement store and get a new one for about $10.
Good luck.

That’s what I’d do, throw the breaker, let it sit a few minutes and then turn it back on.
If that doesn’t work, call an HVAC guy.
Replacing the smart meter is just a power outage, nothing more. I really hate the new smart meters, not easy at all to see how much energy you’re using at the moment. It does have a little flashing two boxes and a arrow but not nearly as simple as watching the dial spin. The website is always 24 hours behind.
October 30, 2012 at 8:18 AM #753431desmondParticipantWhen SC Edison placed the “Smart” meter on my rental the bill for the following month was nearly 4 times higher than it had been before. I complained but got nowhere.

November 1, 2012 at 9:32 AM #753607CoronitaParticipantI don’t know guys. But I think the “What an excellent tap & die set for DIY vehcile repairs” spammers did a pretty good job secretly posting an off topic with a spammy link in there… I don’t think most of the posters on that thread realized it…
November 1, 2012 at 10:06 AM #753615EssbeeParticipantMy husband crawled up into the attic the next day and unplugged the furnace, and then plugged it back in. Problem solved! Too bad I spent about 2 hrs doing online research trying to figure it out. Thanks to everyone (except le spammer) for your suggestions!
