Why is that Unbelievable? Seems like it is exactly what it should be. Miscelleneous income. If you had losses on stocks and they didn’t allow the deduction it sounds to me like you may be up in arms.
I guess I didn’t expect it. Thought it was a bonus deal.

LOL Flu…I knew you would be on this….I did the Chase account for $100 last year (you get $150 for direct deposit and I didn’t want to mess around with that)….and GET THIS…I got a 1099 at the end of the year. Had to claim it on my taxes! Unbelievable.
Actually, I’m much worse… I got my $150 from chase, then I moved it over to USBankCorp and got another $100 from them, which I then moved to IngDirect to get another $75. Also have direct deposit into all three accounts to avoid all the fees…$20 direct deposit in each account. Actually, i did need to open some accounts up for other reasons. Why, I need these many accounts. I don’t know… I miss the days when they gave you a free toaster or a stuff animal.
Anyone remember Crocker Bank with the crocker stuff animal dogs? I got one when I was a kid.
I’m so fvcking cheap…

Not cheap. Why not get a deal when you can find one? Smart way to work this one. You ended up with $325 which is a better return on your money that most anything safe these days. I have an account at Ally Bank and it earns about a buck a day. When I opened the account it was at 1.50% and in less than 6 months, it is now at 1.29%.
Considering the banksters are robbing us blind, I have no problem getting a few bucks when I can.
Don’t remember Betty Crocker stuffed animals, but who is old enough to remember getting glass sports mugs from the gas stations with a fill up?
