The rain was a welcome surprise. I was not expecting them this early in the season, and was caught off guard.
What does your garden grow?
My first attempt from last year went by the way of gophers. Early summer I planted a second set of trees, and they are doing well so far. My newest addition is a decent sized banana tree from HD. Over the next year or two, my plan is to add more shade trees and develop a mini orchard.
I’d take that storm once a week year round.

Haha, I walked home in the rain the other day, didn’t have the right shoes for it — ended up with 1″ blisters on my heels. Ouch.

I have 150 thirsty trees.
Loved it.

Yes! Maybe even 2-3 times per week during the fall/winter months.
So glad to see there are other rain and tree lovers here! 🙂
Hopefully it will put a dent into the impending fire season. It was looking pretty dry up in the mountains last week.
