I’ll let myself vent a little here…
Republicans good, Democrats bad. Me Republican.
Did I catch the essence of this post about right:)
Good posts are those that trigger thoughtful responses, ones that avoid knee-jerk reactions common in other forums. (And, BTW, I think ideologically pure and devout Democrats are equally useless.)

No, actually you missed it by a long shot. It’s interesting that we live in such a polarized political environment that criticizing one member of a party automatically makes you member of the other.
Some people actually think there is not much difference between parties and besides pathological posturing to their constituants are not really different.
