So it turns turns out that DSK’s lawyers are arguing that the alleged rape victim is “unattractive” (maybe a defense).
I don’t believe that “attractiveness” is the point here.http://www.businessinsider.com/dsk-lawyers-were-surprised-at-how-unattractive-maid-was-2011-5
Powerful men tend to marry “trophy” wives with looks, pedigree/family name, or fortune to assure the continuity of their legitimate progeny.
It’s funny how the wives of powerful men prance around in their privileged world thinking they are all so special.
Behind the scenes their husbands are sleeping with maids and prostitutes. That has been going on for thousands of years.
Arnold, could have had almost any woman he wanted. But he chose the maid. He spent enough time with her to father a child. All the while his wife is a Kennedy, and an attractive one at that. Apparently that wasn’t enough.
Thomas Jefferson could have chosen any woman he wanted. But he chose his slave. He kept the slave as his concubine for decades and fathered 6 children by her.
The institution of marriage and the psychology of sex are very interesting subjects indeed.

May 17, 2011 at 4:51 PM #695995UCGalParticipantDSK was going to run for the French Presidency. This is all a ruse to outdo the Italian PM, Berlasconi. (On trial for sex with underaged hookers.)
But, alas, it appears to have backfired. Looks like he won’t be president.
