ParticipantThose guys are whack!
From 6:55 in the video, discussing Ron Paul dropping from the race:
“As for Ron Paul, he could have been the only candidate that I would have voted for…I look at the Republicans and the Democrats, it’s just a political crime family, a gang of 535 – that’s how many Senators and Congressmen there are – so I’m not going to be an accessory to the crime. And by voting for a Republican or a Democrat to me, it’s a criminal act.”
Uh, wait. Didn’t he just say he would have voted for a Republican had Ron Paul been the Republican nominee?
Per the gang of 535 – isn’t this guy aware that Paul has been a member of that political crime family, as he calls it, since 1996?
(8:40)
When talking about Paul’s advice to support Romney:“To me this is a sellout, because doing *anything* with the Republican party or the Democratic party, as I said, is doing something with the Bananos and Gambinos. It’s just a crime family with a white shoe label on them. These are the mass murderers who send over drones, start wars, and rob your money.”
…but he was perfectly okay with Ron Paul joining one of those crime families. Doesn’t make a lick of sense. He should have been advocating Paul running as an independent, not a Republican, using his logic. That would have been a more upstanding thing to do than supporting Paul joining the “crime family” as he puts it.
(9:05)
“Ron Paul has a great voting record, he is a man on integrity. What are they thinking telling their constituents hey we’re gonna win with the delegates don’t worry, and then now saying oh yeah go be respectful of Romney…”
Are they aware that Paul has supported other Republicans for President in the past? Why are they shocked now? Virtually every Dem or Rep candidate has thrown their support to the eventual nominee. And these guys may not want to admit it, but Paul is a long time Republican. Yes, indeed he is.
Lunatic fringe…

A Ron Paul supporter displaying a lunatic-like or at the very least, out of touch with reality/distorted reality, demeanor? Really? Nah, impossible. Never met anyone who would fit that description….

Your point(s) are well taken, but does that really mean they are lunatics on a technicality?
BTW, flu – if you don’t mind. Are you still in the market? I moved to the sidelines just before the latest euro crisis, and now I think I should get back in.
Sure, the latest bailouts are phony in a sense (just printed money) – but who cares in the short run.

I called them lunatics because I was shocked at the tone of their ranting, more than what they actually said.
If I just read the text of what they said, I agree with flu: it reads like they distort reality more than belong to a lunatic fringe.
I should probably reserve the term lunatic for those who see aliens, search for bigfoot, eat pork rinds, or keep a large amount of money in the bank making no interest.

I got back (some) last week and the week before, about 30% of what I took out…
But I also took out a few shares in VXX just in case. Not sure which way it will go.

I am not even sure they figured out who was going to pony up the 125 or so billion for Spanish banks yet.
Well as long as they can keep ponying up money with no Austerity (Frugality) strings attached, I think they can keep the whole think afloat (Well they can make it look like its floating anyway).June 11, 2012 at 12:12 PM #745454sdrealtor

Surprisingly, today was a decent day for me. VXX is up, VLO is up, and QC/BC are a smiggen down…The rest of the market…Wack!

Oh come on, that was a great video. And Celente is absolutely right, it’s all just a presidential reality show.
But of course for O he definitely needs his teleprompter.
To be fair, the interview starts at 6:25.

Yes, SDR…to a realtor that may seem like patience.
I mean after all selling houses doesn’t seem very cerebral.

ParticipantI watched 10 minutes of it.
The reason I stuck it out that long is that I’ve been curious about what exactly a RP fan looks and acts like.
Every once in a while when I come out of the gym, there is a blue Toyota pickup with a RP for Prez ad on each door. I haven’t figured out where the owner of the pickup is, but I suspect at the coffee shop nearby. I saw the pickup last week even.
So I’m hoping that the 10 min I watched didn’t show typical RP fans. But I’m fearful at the same time.

Patience? Not a problem for me. I’ve worked with clients as long as five years to find the right house.
Patience with crazy ignorant folks? You got me there……
