When I am having a good year I usually pay all the taxes in December and I make my January mortgage payment in December to maximize my itemized deductions. This will be one of those years.

How early you pay your January mortgage payment? Can pay even in Dec 30th and take this benefit of maximize itemized deductions? or at least by Dec 28th? which one preferred.
