Thanks, UCGal and sdcellar. I feel lucky that it wasn’t more serious. Still undecided on what to get. A lot will depend on what the insurance gives me, how much more I need to take on and what’s available out there at the time. I do like the Boxster, but I wouldn’t mind another TT. Hubby is pushing for Camaro or Suburu WRX.
I just can’t picture you in a WRX. But if you must, the 2011 with the flared body looks pretty interesting…

April 5, 2010 at 2:59 PM #535661CBadParticipantOh wow, that sucks jp!! And you had it paid off too and may have to go back to a car payment. Yeah, I’d be ticked. But I’m so glad it wasn’t more serious. Are you feeling OK now?
I’m another female manual only driver. NONE of my female friends drives one (I’m sure most CAN just don’t). But honestly not a whole ton of men in this area drive them either. I also ride dirt bikes and most of the women involved in off road sports ride quads. In both cases, I’m just choosing the one that I think is more fun to drive.
I had a convertible Mustang Cobra pre kiddos. We also owned a Viper for about a year pre kiddos too! We used to take it to the Carlsbad drag strip back when it was still open. I don’t think you can go wrong with Mustangs and you can get great deals on used Miatas vs. Boxters. But I have to admit, that new Camaro looks, well, bitchin’!

I just can’t picture you in a WRX.
Yeah. I’m sure it’s a cool car. I’m just not sure if it’s me.
