OT: Pigg car folks – I need feedback

I was a bit unclear; I meant most people I know are able to drive stick (whether they prefer to is another question, and they usually don’t). This was in response to Brian’s assertion that few women CAN drive stick.

James Sikes, Corvette Owner, Can’t Handle Runaway Prius?

When I first saw the video of the SoCal Runaway- aka James Sikes’ Prius – I smelled a rat and told Nancy that something just wasn’t connecting with this guy’s story.

Fourth up: He owns a Corvette. I understand that 90 mph in a Prius is a lot different than 90 mph in a ‘Vette. But certainly this guy has had some experience with high speed travel while talking on his cell phone. So what’s the deal with his heavy breathing and not being able to hold onto the phone?

Yeah, right.

I’m petitioning to have his Corvette recalled and his membership in the San Diego Corvette Owner’s Club suspended pending the NITSA investigation.

Jpinpb…….If you are a true sports car enthusiast (sounds like you are) the Porsche Boxster “S” is a fantastic car. They have the genetic makeup of their more expensive siblings, and going with a used one like you mentioned would be a lot of car for the money.

We were leaning that direction a couple years ago when my wife wanted to get rid of her BMW Z3 “M”, but decided to do a 180 and get a used Cadillac XLR convertible. What a mistake THAT was! It’s no surprise that GM is bankrupt.
