Five out of seven of my girlfriends drive automatics. I’m rather surprised. I always thought b/c I drive manual that everyone does. It’s weird to me to think some people actually drive automatics. If I need any of my girlfriends to drive my car for whatever reason, they can’t.

I was a bit unclear; I meant most people I know are able to drive stick (whether they prefer to is another question, and they usually don’t). This was in response to Brian’s assertion that few women CAN drive stick.
