    Throw a bike into your vehicle or on a bike rack. Drive to Banker’s Hill area north of downtown. This is 5 to 10 minutes away from your destination, a bit more on the return (uphill).
    Best to use a small, cheap, urban-type bike and a big lock. If no bike rack at hotel, lock it to a railing inside parking garage.
    Its all free, and with this weather you won’t even get sweaty. I’ve done it a lot.

    You can park for free in the East Village.

    Around Market & 15th. There’s a Pet Store there (San Diego Pet Supply). In those blocks, there’s free parking.

    Walk a little and take the Trolley Orange line at Market and Park to the Convention Center.

    Or you could walk. Walking is good for you. If you go leisurely, then it’s not tiring at all.

    Briansd1 is correct and it’s a very easy walk now that the fancy new bridge over the tracks and Harbor Dr. is open that goes right into the Hilton. I would estimate it would be no more that a 5 block walk.

    Fashion Valley

    Trolley In. Trolley Out. Would be a shorter walk than from the train station and you can drive most of the way.
