I want
1. A Porsche 911 991 GT3.
2. More rental property…

2) A Ocean view McMansion in Del Mar as a second home.
3) An Ikea in Temecula.

The Tudor black bay heritage watch. I love it. In red.
Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=141093117697&alt=web
I cannot articulate why I want this so much. But it is so utterly beautiful.

I think you’re looking at this the wrong way.I think the way to look at this, is…..
You want to pass it on to your kids, so they remember you by something.. In the meantime, you’re going to use it to ensure that it becomes a personal item that they can say “was yours”…. Since you have more than one kids, you’ll need to get more than one to make sure your kids don’t fight over the only one you have…
See, a Porsche GT3 is a good example.. If I get a GT3 now, it’s definitely something that I could pass on to my kid 20-30 years from now.. And it might even be a collectors item..

And if you explain the rationale of why you got it, and your wife approves, they will definitely remember you by your wit…

Buy now, pay later!! You earned it! You deserve it. And by golly, you’re good enough for it!!!
Sorry. Yes, I know… I’m a bad influence.
July 17, 2014 at 8:19 AM #776756CoronitaParticipantOh, and if you think your boss might object… Then you need to try to preempt that by buying her a nice watch too….
Pitch it as “honey, I love you so much and thought I wanted to spend a little of my hard earned money to buy you something that is nice in your honor…
I got us a matching set, so just like us, the watches wouldn’t ever be lonely alone….besides, the store had a sale… buy one get, one free…”
July 18, 2014 at 10:06 AM #776839moneymakerParticipantKarma says if you buy a more expensive watch than your boss has you will be laid off within the year! Kinda goes along with letting boss win in golf! I personally have a Pathfinder 3043 that I like a lot but got for a good price, like half off, just a little over $100.
