The storm shut down production of 9 oil platforms for 9 days.
We have no slack in our system for storage of refined products. They are saying it will take another two weeks to get things normalized.

We have only had a few stations that have run short of gas (an only for a short time, when they do) while Asheville, (which is only 50 miles away) and Charlotte, (which is 90 miles away) are having major problems with fuel shortages. I don’t understand it either.
