For java developers, you may want to post your opening on the San Diego JUG (Java Users Group) job board on yahoo groups:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/SDJUG-Jobs/
It’s free and you’ll reach a wide audience of local java developers.
I had a question here but removed it.. I found the answer on fairways website.
Thanks meadandale. I’ll pass that tidbit along to the HR types in case they haven’t already posted it there. (I’m just a developer trying to help out :0)

I was going to post about the JUG, but got beaten to it. A good way to get exposure to the developers there is to sponsor one of the meetings. Basically your company buys pizza and sodas for the meeting. Your HR person or recruiter can come and give a face to their advertising.

Is this the infamous Josh G from the JUG message boards?
LOL,
Charles
The one and the same.

Too funny Josh. Good to see you over here.
I’ve been preaching the gospel of the coming bubble burst to my coworkers, several of whom are sitting in million dollar plus homes in carmel valley. They seem to think that there’s no way that their houses will lose equity.
Good luck with that!
