Y’all are bring my vacation plans down man.
We haven’t been back since 2005. Only reason we went then was a company paid “conference”. Those were the days, whoo hoo. I digress.
Lost Wages priced themselves out of our comfort zone. When the room rates equaled renting a house on the beach for week, the food costs could have fed our family for several months and it seems like everyone had a hand out for some crazy “service” we just stopped going.
I was thinking about a trip this summer, but it sounds like it may not be worth it. One thing about their struggles, you risk getting a diminished return for your dollar. And I don’t feel like pushing the beggars out of my way walking up and down the strip.
Touring around looking at the houses might be a cheap form of entertainment though. Do they serve food and drink on those buses?
Still love the surrounding area though. A desolate sort of beauty.

May 27, 2009 at 6:50 PM #406430svelteParticipantI would say this is probably the best time to go to Vegas in several years, not sure why you’re saying we’re bringing down your plans.
Rooms are cheaper, the place is less crowded.
I’d go for it if I were you. Then again, we just did last weekend!

buy a sub to foreclosure.com and keep track of nods to make sure your address doesn’t show up?
