Have you shot the Sig .357 round? Its a cannon… Problem is I cant control it. At 75 feet I am all bull-eyes with my .40… I put that .357 barrel in it and just hitting the black is difficult… Its a mean round for sure but if you cant hit anything with it…BTW I shoot the P226 with interchangeable barrels…

I think you may be ‘anticipating’ the shock, so you pull it. Might get better with practice, but you are right about ‘cannon’. I suspect that your first shot ever with the 357 was on, but afterwards you started ‘anticipating’ the recoil. You are using the P226 – so you must be using long/normal barrel. Can you try ‘dead resting’ the front of the barrel against a shot bag?

True.
I’m probably overstating my case.
I’d rather not look like a weak walking victim. Which frankly is how I feel. Afraid.I’ve been a giant pussy my whole life. I’ve always been intimidated by other men physicalky.
I’d rather look like and actually be somebody who can potentially give you trouble…maybe like mike, on breaking bad. Kind of a quiet strength.
I think a lot of people must be feeling vulnerable because the class is so full

I took Krav Maga for two years at a place in Sorrento Valley. Then, when we moved up to T-Town, my son took the kids class for a while.
Krav is awesome, good workout and more tools in the tool belt.

I have burned around 500 Sig rounds and I have never “settled down”. Its just a hard to shoot round.
My father in-law who is a crack shot… And I do mean “crack” (former marine shooting instructor) had a hard time with the round as well…

Good for you, scaredy! That’s a fantastic blood pressure reading!
