ParticipantIf you can’t afford the Miele, try the Method pink grapefruit dishwashing tabs (available at Target). They cost a bit more but in conjunction with Jet-Dry, they keep our blue cobalt glassware sparkling clean.

ParticipantThanks for the tip, AK.
I went to the Sears outlet and scored on a counter depth frig. They had a KitchenAid Architect Series KSCS23FVMS that I’ve seen priced between $2,500 to 3k. They had it on sale, tax and everything out the door was $1,603. It had some scuffs on the side. Not a problem for me b/c it will be covered by the cabinet side panels.
Still looking for D/W, range and microwave.

Nice job on the refrigerator, jp!
Not sure if you’re interested in anything like this, buy my MIL has a double-oven in a slide-in.
Something like this:

We hope to get one like that (with gas) when we buy. It’s very handy for warming up casserole dishes, etc. with the smaller oven. Also, if you have guests over and need to bake multiple dishes, it’s great, and saves so much room compared to a traditional wall oven.
