Why can’t we make stuff like this in this country, right now? Same quality, same features, etc. It would be fantastic!
My husband conceded he might forgo the Bertazoni we’re planning on getting if we could get this gorgeous 60″ stove/ovens. It would solve all of our issues with ovens vs storage vs functionality.
That’s exactly it, UCGal. We couldn’t find something like this (new) if we wanted to. These are masterpieces! π

My mom had a beautiful 48″ range with storage and a drawer. The bottom right was a gas broiler. I remember setting afire my early morning cinnamon toast several times, lol!
Bet its a broiling rack for steaks in the oven.
This is a good guess, too. Again, Gaffers and Sattler stoves from the ’30s and ’40s were 40″-48″ wide with a large pancake griddle in the middle of the gas burners. This could have been a grill to place in that opening when the griddle pan was removed.
Or a grate to place on top of the broiler in the drawer beneath the lower right oven. Just light the pilot and hear your steak sizzle!
Still don’t get the diagonal metal rings on it though!!
These ranges, now restored to perfection, are VERY expensive.
