ParticipantGood thing INTC can afford to flush $$ down the drain
these days. You know, I bot one of their E8400 processors back when they first came out- saw it on Slickdeals.net for about $130 from CompUsa/Tigerdirect when everyone else was selling it for about $225. It was an obvious pricing mistake but they sent it to me anyway for the advertised price. Today, about 2 years later, I am looking to upgrade components of another of my pc’s and see that the E8400 is still selling for about $169 bucks which to me is incredible for a pc component that old. I was expecting to be able to get it for about 80 bucks- oh well, where is that incredible deflation some are screaming about.August 19, 2010 at 11:30 PM #593860outtamojo

Lol… Chxxx with dixxx
It’s not chicks with dicks, it’s dick’s buys chick’s. How did everyone not see that, dick’s have been buying chicks since they invented currency.
It’s still my favortie too desmond, I get a lot of miledge out of those jokes, my favorite is “of course it wasn’t a merger, once again dick had to pay chick, and assume chick’s debt.”

Participant
The difference between a hands on worker and the CEO is the amount of money they can afford to lose and still keep their job…
I worked at a hosting company a long time ago and Intel thought about doing security and server farm hosting as well and did some data center build outs. Only thing they did was tour our facilities and try to steal how it was done…I think they left that industry as well (did they?).
Sometimes, large companies just seem want to merge for no other reason than to say they are doing something at their job and being busy…
Wrong. The difference between a CEO and a normal employee is
1)Normal employee that hits on another coworker would get fired with cause.
2)CEO who hits on another coworker get’s a $40million retirement package and sinks the company’s market cap a few billion.
Intel and HP should partnership on a new staring role in silicon valley, “Dumb and Dumber in Corporate America: how we get paid to make fvcked up decisions”
