ParticipantI recomend a plain sheet of pine plywood in preparation for what lies ahead scaredy. You can add side panels and a lid if thats your preference.

ParticipantYes I like the long nap prep. But maybe I’d prefer to sleep on dirt.

ParticipantI read about coffin bookcases it’s a bookcase with a lid u keep in back, when you’re finished reading it serves as a coffin. Makes a lot of sense.
However I’m a total body donor.
Cheapest body disposal. Free.

Tempurdic has been around a long time. Times have changed. Now it sounds like a new multipurpose drug for youthful, anger management types?
Tempurpedic, it’s for your rotten kid, ask your doctor about side effects.

Not on Tempurpedic but on a latex mattress. No springs, less bouncy, quite preferred it to a regular spring mattress.

ParticipantJust seems like you’d get more traction and that could help at critical moments in the tantric repertoire.

Participant

Beds.
I’m looking to replace my ancient mattress.
I love sleep.
Money not an object. You know within reason.
Best bed?
Bed is the most important furniture in the house.
By far.
I love bed.
I recommend simmons beautyrest with has individually wrapped coils. I like it very firm, so no pillowtop for me.
I second this. We have the one with the pillow top, and will never get anything else. Once you get this bed, you will never be able to sleep anywhere else. We’ve had ours for 8+ years, and it’s still as awesome as ever. Every morning, we way up and say, “I love our bed!” Not kidding.

ParticipantI like to sleep 9-10 hours per day 8-9 at night plus nap.
A chair gets virtually zero usage in comparison.
All I really need is a bed and maybe a tablei can stand at.
It seems wrong that you cannot be buried in your yard.
You can bury a big dog…What’s the difference? My kids are super handy w a pickaxr and have dug huge trenches for Airsoft fields in yard.

ParticipantI’ve had Spring Air mattresses over many years – double pillowtop. There is one that has wool on one side and silk on the other and is called the “Four-Seasons.” It is very heavy to flip (esp the CA King) but should be flipped in the fall and spring with the correct side on top and top to bottom. It is very firm and will last for many years if flipped semi-annually.
This mattress might have different names depending on where it is sold but I believe the “Four Seasons model” is currently sold by Macy’s. Even the lesser Spring Air pillowtop mattresses are very good beds.
