I know…. Why can’t Xe Services have a private school for k-6??? It would do my kid some good.
I really want her to learn how to kick ass. Her kung fu class is taught by a group of frickin pacifists.

For the stuff that is not physical I tell my kids it’s good practice for learning not to let someone, who is obviously having a bad day or worse, push their buttons. It bothers me more that classroom time is disrupted by lousy students acting out.
Most the physical stuff is petty and will not escalate unless two want to quarrel. It seems scary perhaps, but it is nothing to go kung fu fighting about. Pretty soon your kid will go around being a nuisance, posturing karate kid before anyone even does anything to her. It’s not about being pacifist, its about knowing when to react and when not to worry. Kindergarten is pretty safe even in the ghetto and you ain’t in the ghetto.

Well you beat me to the Blackwater punchline this time but I actually saw a piece on the Gracie Academy where they not only only teach fighting techiques but they teach confidence, bully coping strategies, and what to do incase physical contact is necessary. She may be a little young for this but they are very effective in turning timid kids into ones with self confidence and coping skills.
Sorry your kid is dealing with this. I dont want to turn this racial but she might be a target cause I think that people might clasify her as timid due her asian culture.
And before anyone jumps on me I have thought about this because my childern will be half asian, my wife has told me her childhood stories, and more than likely will face some of the same BS at some point.
BTW Gracie has an academy in Poway…
