Hi Piggs — A long while back I got some great advice on neck/back pain here on the pigg. After that thread, I discovered a great resource, and I thought I’d post it in case it might help anyone struggling neck or back pain.
The background for me is, my neck almost constantly hurt for 15 years or so. I could get temporary relief from chiropractors, but it was VERY temporary, and I tried all kinds of other stuff and very little helped. But after reading this dude’s very long tutorial on neck pain and following his advice, the pain finally stopped. Could be a coincidence, I suppose, but I suspect it isn’t.
So I wanted to link for anyone who is suffering from the same issue. It’s worth a try to read this stuff and see if it helps.
The specific thing that was immensely helpful to me was the neck pain tutorial.
There is also a very long (book length) thing on back pain that I found very helpful. And there’s a ton of other good stuff on there too.
Those tutorials cost some money to read the entire thing, but it was worth it a thousand times over for me. And anyhoo there is lots of free info on the site.
I’m not getting any benefit out of pimping this guy’s site… it just occurred to me today that I got so much benefit from it, I should share the love and hopefully help other people who are having similar issues.
There’s no question the medical profession over-image and over-medicate and perform too many unnecessary surgeries on neck and back pain.
True story: construction worker was prevented from starting his new job because a screening x-Ray of his back showed severe arthritis. His doctor asks him about his back pain. The construction worker goes, what back pain???
